The department

The Technology department has realized a new high-tech lab in 2020. We are looking for a QC Engineer who actively participates in improvements and projects. Kisuma has the ambition to bring new products to the market. For entrance inspections, process controls and final inspections, it is necessary to improve or automate existing analysis methods and work processes. In addition, we must develop completely new methods to test the new products and to optimize the production processes.


What is your challenge at Kisuma?

As a QC Engineer, you advise and support the QC Supervisor in the general Technology responsibilities.

You provide instructions to analysts and supervise interns.

You validate analysis results of the end product and raw materials.

You are partly responsible for the management of Lims, laboratory equipment and the quality system.

You advise on the purchase of new analysis equipment and you conclude service contracts.

In addition, you optimize and validate existing and new analysis methods.

Analysis techniques that we currently use a lot include XRF, ICP, PSD, titrations, BET, UV-VIS and IR spectrometry.

You report results to internal and external parties.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor Chemistry or equivalent.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.

  • A person who wants to share knowledge and teach colleagues.

  • Proficiency in Dutch and English is a plus.

  • Experience with projects and ISO standards.

  • Experience or affinity with LIMS.

  • The following competencies: proactive, communicative and socially skilled, critical thinking, independent and advising.
